2025 has brought a lot of growth and milestones for myself and Twisted Motif. I love creating handcrafted wearable art and guitar straps, but another goal of mine was to be able to be a part of something beautiful, and to me, enjoying a concert, meeting the musicians and letting them know how much you are enjoying their work is living life to the fullest.
In March of this year, we decided to apply to sell at Luck Reunion in Spicewood Springs, TX or more famously known for being at Willie Nelson's ranch. The one day music event is a giant party for music loving people. We were thrilled to be accepted and I worked incredibly hard to be prepared for it. Setting up in the VIP area meant that traffic was low, but the trade off was more musicians and some really dedicated people that were happy to fully participate in the event. We had good sells to match the investment of the booth. All in all, it was our biggest event and we look forward to next year's possibilities with the Luck family.

This summer, I reworked the guitar strap patterns that I had been creating to make both 3.5"wide straps as well as 3"wide straps. Also, I covered a few more trucker style hats with my woven bands. Very importantly, I rested and dreamt of what Twisted Motif can become.

Most recently, there was a really cool opportunity to join an Americanafest party put on by Mule Kick Records and Little Hollywood Studios at Love and Exile in East Nashville, TN and sell our handmade goods. We were amongst musicians, artists, filmmakers and creatives and had a lovely day enjoying everyone's work and connecting with attendees.

As we move into fall, I am working on new leathercraft products and planning for 2026 already!
